Accessible student services in Post-16 education

Accessible student services is not just about wheelchair ramps. All staff working for providers of Post-16 education have a duty to ensure students with any type of disability can access buildings, services and the curriculum. That means everyone - from tutors to administrators, support staff and even contractors - must have a basic understanding of disability issues and the requirements of the DDA. They also need to ensure that disabled colleagues and researchers are fairly treated.

Developed with respected UK law firm Bond Pearce, with expert input from the National Association of Disability Practitioners, and the London School of Economics and Political Science, this course provides guidance on best practice and emphasises the value of an accessible workplace and learning environment.
